For your collection of incredibly unique Rolex vintage watches, there is this Rolex Jumbo Oysterdate "HYSTERIC GLAMOUR", produced with 35mm Jumbo case in year 1955. It features a unique "super high-gloss" Black Gilt Dial made in year 1990 by Rolex for Nobuhiko Kitamura / Hysteric Glamour.
This unique "Hysteric Glamour" dial is originally produced and co-branded by Rolex.
More than just a super high-gloss finish and the additional co-branding “Hysteric Glamour”, this flawless Black Gilt Dial also has its own unique Rolex surface finish for each and every single index on the dial. All luminous dots are perfectly intact, they have taken on a beautiful dark yellow patina over the last >30 years. The second hand shines in 18-carat gold.

Hysteric Glamour is a Japanese designer label founded in 1984 by artist Nobuhiko Kitamura.
The Japanese brand is known for its bold and provocative aesthetic, which combines elements of rock 'n' roll, pop culture and contemporary art. The collections are often characterized by vibrant prints, extravagant graphics and unique details. The brand has attracted significant popularity in the Japanese fashion scene and has also gained an international following.
The label's theme is musicians such as Marc Bolan, one of the inventors and protagonists of glam rock, as well as the Sex Pistols or David Bowie. Andy Warhol and his works of art make an appearance too. Other themes include comics, pornography, cars, packaging designs and neon signs. In Japan, there are now 51 stores in districts such as Harajuku, Aoyama, Shibuya and Shinjuku. International stores can be found in Hong Kong, London and Paris.

The publication gives an exclusive insight into the life of David Bowie and contains rare illustrations such as the “Handwritten lyrics for HEROS”.
The Rolex watch itself received a Rolex Solid Oyster bracelet and the unique “Hysteric Glamour” dial in year 1990 by Rolex Japan. The last known service at Rolex Japan was in December 1995.
We had this gem completely overhauled by our master watchmakers in 2024 and kept it in excellent technical condition. The watch has not been polished, nothing has been refurbished, no components have been replaced.. This unique timemachine is 100% authentic & in original condition. We deliver this unique Rolex masterpiece together with the Rolex Original Box, the Rolex Japan Service Paperwork, the Rolex Service Pouch and the "David Bowie Book & Bag" from Hysteric Glamour.
