You are looking at a superrare collector set of a Rolex Stelline which still has its original full length Rolex straight end bracelet included - stamped (19)57 with little signs of wear and a minimum of stretch in its Rolex spring-loaded bracelet with expandable links.
The masterpiece was stored in a safe for decades and very rarely worn. The watch has been serviced twice by Rolex in its service history, between late 1970s / early 1980s and again in the 1990s, both times at the Rolex headquarter USA / New York and has been fully preserved in its pristine condition.
For this reason, the collector's set of this fine watch contains 100% of all original parts, as well as additional a striking heavy solid steel Rolex Big Logo Jubilee bracelet in excellent condition including reference 574 Rolex End-Link - a rarity, as service bracelets from the US were usually delivered without reference to the end links and the reference 574 is traditionally delivered with the Rolex Cosmograph, Daytona, Dato-Compax, etc. The scope of delivery also includes the belonging Rolex service bag from late 70s / early 80s.
The later and last known service of this fine Rolex watch at Rolex Headquarters USA was in 1994 and it comes with the Rolex service box from that time & accessories including the Rolex leather strap from the 1990s (unworn). Included and installed is the Rolex Vintage steel buckle from the time of original production. The scope of delivery again includes the belonging Rolex service box from the 1990s.
We deliver this remarkable masterpiece with a complete major check & movement regulation in year 2023 without changing any parts - which means all parts of this beauty are still 100% original. In result this is an example of a Rolex Galaxy in amazingly fine shape & condition.
As the cherry on the cake, it seems that this watch has never been polished in the years from 1957 until today (!). It is simply magical when you see the stars twinkling while looking at a pristine surface like the Oyster case of this Rolex Stelline.
According to your personal preference, you have the choice of wearing this superlative Star Rolex 1.) on the original 50s Rolex straight-end bracelet from C&I or 2.) on a heavy Rolex Big Logo solid steel bracelet or 3.) on an unworn fine Rolex vintage leather bracelet in the elegant color “maroon”, which goes perfectly with the creamy white star dial.
// A brief history of C&I: In earlier years, Rolex also commissioned bracelets from manufacturers outside of Switzerland to reduce tariffs on watches imported for sale in the United States, United Kingdom and Mexico. The most famous manufacturer, C&I, was based in the United States and manufactured significant quantities for Rolex from the 1950s onwards. These bands are recognizable by their thinner hollow rivets compared to their Swiss-made counterpart. A few examples of early rivet-style bracelets had spring-loaded expandable links. To date, only a handful of these expandable bracelets have survived in good condition, which originally made in the 1950s and 1960s by the Swiss bracelet manufacturer Gay Frères and - as said - in the USA by C&I. At that time, it was not yet common for watch manufacturers to also supply the bracelets for their watches. In fact, the bracelets were - usually very expensive - extras.
