The legendary Caliber 33.3 was produced by Omega for almost 20 years, but all in all, the numbers produced were low. It served as the precursor to one of the most honored movements of all time, the Omega Caliber 321, the movement that powered the famous Moonwatch and was used in the Apollo moonwalks.

// A brief history of OMEGA "NATO" bracelets: These bracelets were created from leather and canvas straps. In the early days, for safety reasons, watch straps were often fastened not by means of detachable spring bars but by fixed bars, often soldered, which were less fragile. This meant there was less risk of losing the watch. Of course, this meant that the bracelets were made of only one piece throughout, which ran through the permanently mounted bars. Like the originals that served as a template, the length of OMEGA's "NATO" bracelets can be individually adjusted to fit any wrist.
