*Canvas Strap by Paul Hewitt - Anchored to the Ocean | Description from the manufacturer:
Designed in Germany | All PAUL HEWITT products are designed in Northern Germany. As coastal children, we want to give you the opportunity to carry a little piece of the ocean with you forever.
Recycled stainless steel, Marinium® Ocean Steel | With Marinium® Ocean Steel we present you our own stainless steel, which is completely recycled and meets the highest quality standards (316L Surgical Steel). The aim is to obtain all of our stainless steel from old, discarded ships. Marinium® helps us to reduce the CO2 emissions of our products by more than 60% and is therefore a key driver in reducing our CO2 footprint. In addition, we invest part of the Marinium® revenue in projects to protect and preserve our oceans, coasts and waters.
Recycled plastic | We only use recycled polyester (rPET) instead of new polyester to make our wristbands stronger, more robust and, above all, more sustainable. Production from recycled polyester is significantly more energy-efficient and has the advantage that plastic that has already been produced is reused. Alongside climate change, tackling the global plastic problem is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Worldwide, millions of tons of plastic end up in our ecosystem every year, often after a single use - especially in the oceans. To preserve the beauty of our oceans, we are reinventing our products.
