IWC | Jumbo Dresswatch
Intermediate Model
1960s
IWC - International Watch Co. Schaffhausen | The Boston-born engineer, Florentine Ariosto Jones, founded the "International Watch Co." manufacture in 1868 in Schaffhausen.
Pellaton automatic | The world-famous design of Albert Pellaton's automatic winding mechanism with an eccentric and two large pawls represents a special technical feature. IWC used this automatic in its "Caliber 85" series. Movements of the watch's wearer cause the semicircular rotor to rotate, moving a rocker constructed with two ruby rollers and two large pawls. By moving the rocker, the two pawls wind the gear train connected to the spring core.
